How to get student discounts in Pakistan
Updated 14 October 2026
To get a student discount in Pakistan, prove that you are currently enrolled, then use the brand's student offer: a code at checkout online, or your student card or pass at the counter. The Uni Deals checks your student status once, free, and every verified student price on it then opens for you.
How do student discounts work in Pakistan?
A student discount is a lower price a brand gives to people who can prove they are students. In Pakistan the proof is usually a student card shown at the till, a university email address, or a verified code typed at checkout. The brand sets the discount and its rules, so they differ from offer to offer.
The hard part is trust. Codes get copied into group chats, coupon sites fill up with ones that no longer work, and brands stop offering them. That is why more and more offers ask you to verify first, and why a deal is only worth chasing if you know who stands behind it.
Who qualifies for a student discount?
You qualify for a student discount in Pakistan while you are currently enrolled at a university or college. Brands want proof that is current, so keep it handy while you study. Most offers accept one of these, and any one of them is usually enough on its own:
- An email address from your university or college.
- A student card with a current date on it.
- A fee slip, enrolment letter or transcript that shows your name and institute.
Once you graduate, the offer ends. Keep your documents handy while you are studying, because you may be asked for them again. If you need a card, read how to get or replace a student card in Pakistan.
Which student discounts can you use today?
You can use student prices from brands on The Uni Deals, such as 20% off at Amals and 10% off at Funkaar Clothing, and from official programmes run by GitHub, Microsoft, Spotify, Google and the Punjab Transport Company. Each has its own rules, so open the linked page before you rely on one.
| Brand | Student offer | How you use it |
|---|---|---|
| Amals | 20% off everything at amals.pk, with no minimum order and sale items included. | Reveal your code and use it at the Amals checkout. |
| Funkaar Clothing | 10% off regular prices. | Reveal your code and use it at the Funkaar Clothing checkout. |
| Horizon Trips and Tours | 8% off every trip and tour you book. | Book on The Uni Deals at the student price. |

These programmes are run by the companies themselves. We checked each one on its official page on 14 October 2026; rules and prices change, so check again before you rely on one.

Many shops and cafes also give a student price at the till without advertising it. It costs nothing to ask, with your student card in your hand.
How can you tell a real student discount from a fake one?
A real student discount comes from the brand itself or from a platform that checks students, says exactly what you need to prove, and gives you a code tied to you. A screenshot forwarded in a group chat, or one code shared by everyone, usually stops working at the till. Check these three things:
- It comes from the brand, or from a platform that checks students, not from a forwarded screenshot.
- It says what you need to prove, and how. A real offer is never shy about verification.
- The code is tied to you. A code that thousands of people share will stop working.
If an offer fails at the till, tell the brand politely, then tell us. We use that feedback to decide who stays on The Uni Deals.
How does verification work on The Uni Deals?
The Uni Deals verifies you once, free, and the same pass then works for every deal. A recognised Pakistani university email verifies you the moment you press the button. Otherwise you send a photo of your proof of enrolment, a person on our team reviews it, usually within a day, and you need no CNIC. There are two routes:
- A recognised university email. If your address is at a Pakistani university we recognise, you are verified the moment you press the button.
- Proof of enrolment. Send a photo of a student card, fee slip or challan, an enrolment or admission letter, or a transcript with its header. A person on our team reviews it, usually within a day.
If a document is rejected, try again with a clearer photo or a different proof. Your name and the name of your institute must be readable. The full answers are on the support page.

- Create your account. Sign in with your email. We send you a 6-digit code, and there is no password.
- Verify as a student. Use your university email or upload proof of enrolment.

Online codes are made for your own account, which keeps them off coupon sites and working for students. Every discount is offered by an independent brand. If a brand does not honour one, email hello@theunideals.com.
